Rio your way
Known as the "marvelous city", Rio is a perplexing place where constant movement is matched with laid back attitudes - a place where an iconic figure of Jesus looks down to a bustling metropolis and deep blue sea. Make your way through the city's top landmarks like the National Library, Museum of Fine Arts, and Saint Sebastian Cathedral.  Pause to admire the beautiful interior of Candelaria Church, and envision the colours that light up the Sambadrome - the site of Rio's famous Carnival. Enjoy traditional meals, a Samba show, and cable car rides up the famous Sugarloaf and Cocovado mountains.

The beaches that songs are made of
It may seem unfair that one city can house inspiration for both Barry Manilow and Frank Sinatra, but Brazil's beaches (namely Copacabana and Ipanema) are second to none. The 4km-long Copacabana beach is one of the most famous in the world, where fine alabaster sands stretch out between two historic forts at either end - the iconic black and white promenade is also well worth an afternoon stroll. If you're in the mood for a lovely sunset and a slightly cleaner beach, head to Ipanema for some true relaxation.
