Port Credit is the perfect place to explore by bike. There are plenty of off-road trails to navigate with breathtaking scenery, including the Mississauga trail which is 19 kilometres in length. Other notable parks in the area include St. Lawrence Park (with plenty of outdoor exhibits explaining the area's past), Saddington Park and Ben Machree Park.
The Waterside is also just twenty minutes from downtown Toronto, in case you want to venture downtown for some theatre, shopping, a restaurant you've been dying to eat at or to watch a game. Even closer is Sherway Gardens shopping centre, movie theatres in Mississauga and a wide variety of nightlife.
