Isaiah Tubbs Resort is located less than a 10 minute drive from Sandbanks Provincial Park which is a great place for hiking and water activities, while nature loving families will enjoy watching bird migrations and sand dunes.

Isaiah Tubbs Resort is conveniently located off the 401 between Toronto and Ottawa, making it an ideal weekend trip. Once you're there, the accommodations all offer satellite TV, free wireless internet access, air conditioning and a coffee maker, and some even have a fireplace and private Jacuzzi.
Sandbanks Provincial Park offers year-round activities, including hiking and swimming, but if you'd prefer to stay close(r) to home, the resort itself includes boat rentals, sandy beaches, walking trails, tennis courts and lots of on-site activities for the kids.
At dinner time there are options: The Restaurant on the Knoll offers an elegant and extensive menu featuring many seafood dishes, while the Sandbar Lounge offers a laid back atmosphere and famous local wines.
Kids will love
Prince Edward County is known for its beaches and lots of swimming options are available at the resort's private sandy beach or outdoor swimming pool. But if that's not for them, boat rentals are available or they can check out the baseball diamond, basketball court or the other play areas located around the resort.
When it comes to food there are also many choices on-site for kids, including grilled cheese, chicken fingers and even peanut butter and jam sandwiches.
